Clinical Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive medical research initiatives with leading life science organizations.

• Execute EMR data analysis and identify pertinent clinical characteristics.

• Utilize LLM-based feature engineering to convert unstructured data into actionable clinical insights.

• Assist in the design of clinical protocols with a focus on data and feasibility considerations.

• Conduct statistical analyses and communicate findings to clients through dashboards, publications, and presentations.

• Establish expertise in our exclusive healthcare data.

• Create and maintain cross-client pipelines to enhance our data infrastructure and product offerings.

• Assemble varied patient cohorts and datasets to continuously enrich Latica’s data catalog.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a comparable analytical position, including at least 3 years in the healthcare sector (mandatory).

• Proven experience in client-facing roles and collaboration with pharmaceutical or life sciences companies (mandatory).

• High-level proficiency in Python and SQL.

• Strong knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and healthcare coding systems (CPT, ICD-10, etc.).

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS/GCP) is preferred.

• A team-oriented individual who is self-driven, quick to adapt, and possesses outstanding analytical, research, and business insight.
