Clinical Customer Development Specialist – Infectiology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Drive the clinical demand and adoption of Procalcitonin (PCT) as well as other cutting-edge biomarkers.

• Engage with healthcare professionals, clinical users, and decision-makers across pertinent medical specialties.

• Develop relationships with hospitals and healthcare institutions within the designated territory.

• Establish strong, sustainable connections with key clinical stakeholders and decision-makers.

• Support the implementation of biomarker-guided clinical pathways, hospital protocols, and antimicrobial stewardship programs.

• Provide clinical education through discussions, presentations, and workshops.

• Coordinate clinical market development initiatives alongside License Partners.

• Collaborate to support the clinical development of high-potential accounts.

• Work in conjunction with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and other Commercial teams.

• Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at relevant events and scientific congresses.

• Contribute to the achievement of agreed-upon growth objectives.

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date account and activity records in Salesforce (SFDC).


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.

• Over 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or a comparable environment.

• Proven experience in engaging clinical users and healthcare decision-makers.

• Ability to comprehend and effectively communicate scientific and clinical information.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.

• Capability to foster enduring relationships with clinical stakeholders and business partners.

• Ability to operate independently and efficiently within a cross-functional matrix organization.

• Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.

• Valid driver's license.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (>50%).

• Strong proficiency in English communication skills.
