This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Offer clinical consultation and support to WAVE clients via phone, email, online coaching, and case discussions.
• Assist practitioners with contact lens fitting, design, and the effective utilization of the WAVE Contact Lens System.
• Guide professionals in enhancing contact lens designs and developing proficiency with WAVE software and lenses.
• Create, maintain, and enhance clinical training and educational resources, including manuals, forms, photographs, and videos.
• Back cross-functional initiatives that involve Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Regulatory, and Quality Management.
• Evaluate WAVE software and offer clinical and user insights for product improvements and upgrades.
• Maintain a high level of expertise in WAVE software, WAVE lenses, contact lens design, fitting, and clinical applications.
• Stay updated on trends, innovations, market developments, and regulatory requirements in the contact lens and ophthalmology sectors.
• Collaborate with WAVE and OCULUS teams to ensure quality service, productivity, and favorable business outcomes.
• Represent WAVE at local, regional, and international trade shows and industry events as required.
• Assist with special assignments, projects, and other business initiatives as they arise.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Licensed fitting optician or NCLE certification is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of clinical, technical, and/or industry experience in ophthalmology or optometry is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of contact lens designs and fitting philosophies.
• Extensive understanding of conditions, pathologies, and treatments managed by ophthalmologists and optometrists.
• In-depth knowledge related to contact lens fitting and associated devices.
• Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, planning, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Capability to work effectively across various functions and collaborate with colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and TeamViewer.
• Strong customer-service orientation and a professional work ethic.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding company and patient-related information.
• Ability to perform a desk-based role for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10–25% of the time.
