
Clinical Consultant, Medical Informatics – Medical Imaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver clinical consulting services for Synapse PACS/MI initiatives.
• Set up reports (CV) and assess workflows.
• Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing.
• Provide customer training, either remotely or on-site, and offer go-live assistance.
• Extend clinical support to sales and internal teams regarding product usage.
• Act as a consultant for clients and company staff.
• Organize training sessions in collaboration with HCUS and customer contacts.
• Address application-related issues and image quality concerns at both product and system levels.
• Collaborate with interpreting physicians, clinicians, and other professionals to ensure smooth product functionality.
• Maintain documentation for customer training.
• Offer additional paid training and consultancy to help achieve Professional Services revenue targets.
• Assist customers in accepting FUJIFILM Medical Systems solutions.
• Keep open lines of communication with Service, Engineering, Integration, and Customer Service teams.
• Provide telephone and remote clinical support via the Technical Assistance Center.
• Adhere to quality management, regulatory, FDA, ISO 13485, vendor credentialing, and safety standards.
• Engage in professional organizations and undertake other assigned responsibilities.
• 2 to 10 years of progressive experience in medical technology, computer science, PACS administration, or the healthcare sector.
• Experience in Cardiology or Radiology is preferred.
• An Associate’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant healthcare field is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant healthcare area is preferred.
• Background in medical imaging.
• Experience in the healthcare, software application, or IT industries is preferred.
• Professional demeanor.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with end-users and clinical supervisors.
• Proven end-user computer skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Technical support experience with strong troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to identify workflow requirements and connect them to product features.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Documented experience in the IT/Healthcare field.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to comply with U.S. FDA medical-device regulations, ISO 13485 standards, and all applicable laws.
• Ability to meet vendor-credentialing requirements for access to hospitals and facilities.
• Must be able to fulfill specified physical capabilities, including sitting, keyboard use, standing, communication, lifting up to 10 pounds, walking long distances, and using stairs.
• Ability to withstand air-pressure changes during travel.
• Frequent travel, up to 75%, may be necessary.
