
Clinical Consultant, Medical Informatics – Medical Imaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer clinical consulting for Synapse PACS/MI initiatives
• Set up reports (CV)
• Evaluate workflows
• Conduct end-to-end testing
• Provide customer training, either remotely or onsite
• Assist during the go-live phase
• Aid sales and company personnel in utilizing company products
• Act as a consultant for both customers and company staff
• Organize training sessions in collaboration with HCUS and customer contacts
• Address application-related and image-quality issues at both product and system levels
• Collaborate with interpreting physicians, clinicians, and professional staff to ensure optimal product functionality
• Develop and update customer training documentation
• Offer further training and consultation as needed
• Support customer acceptance of FUJIFILM Medical Systems solutions
• Maintain communication with Service, Engineering, Integration, and Customer Service departments
• Provide telephone and remote clinical support via the Technical Assistance Center
• Adhere to quality management, regulatory, U.S. FDA, ISO 13485, and other relevant requirements
• Fulfill vendor credentialing requirements for hospital and facility access
• Engage in professional organizations
• Keep product knowledge up to date and ensure customer satisfaction
• Execute other responsibilities assigned by management
• 2 to 10 years of relevant experience in medical technology, computer science, PACS Administration, or the healthcare sector
• Preferred experience in Cardiology or Radiology
• An associate’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related healthcare field is mandatory
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant healthcare field is preferred
• Experience in a relevant field
• Background in healthcare, software applications, or IT is advantageous
• Familiarity with medical imaging
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with end-users and clinical supervisors
• Proven skills in end-user computer applications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Technical support experience coupled with strong troubleshooting abilities
• Capacity to identify workflow needs and align them with product features
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated experience in the IT/Healthcare sector
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to implement quality management system processes
• Ability to uphold company standards of business conduct
• Ability to complete company training and expense reports promptly
• Compliance with U.S. FDA medical-device regulations, ISO 13485 standards, and relevant laws and regulations is required
• Must meet and pass vendor-credentialing criteria for hospital and facility access
• Preferred clinical certifications/experience: RDCS, RVT, Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Registered Nurse Cardiac, or ARRT Registered Radiology Technologist
• Physical capability to sit for 75–100% of working hours, use hands and fingers continuously, stand/talk/hear 75% of the time, lift and carry up to 10 pounds for up to 20% of the time, walk long distances, navigate stairs, and withstand air-pressure variations during travel
• Ability to see clearly at a distance of twenty inches or less
• Frequent travel, up to 75%, may be necessary
