
Clinical Consultant, Medical Informatics – Medical Imaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer clinical consulting for Synapse PACS/MI initiatives
• Set up reports (CV)
• Evaluate workflows
• Conduct end-to-end testing
• Train clients remotely or on-site
• Provide support during go-live phases
• Deliver ongoing assistance for application-related and image quality issues
• Act as a consultant for both clients and company staff
• Organize training sessions in collaboration with HCUS and customer-site representatives
• Collaborate with interpreting physicians, clinicians, and professional staff to ensure smooth operation of Fujifilm products
• Keep customer-training documentation up to date
• Offer additional paid training and consultation to meet Professional Services revenue objectives
• Secure customer approval of FUJIFILM Medical Systems solutions
• Maintain effective communication and relationships across HCUS departments
• Provide telephone and remote clinical support via the Technical Assistance Center
• Adhere to quality management, regulatory, FDA, ISO 13485, vendor credentialing, and safety standards
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• 2 to 10 years of progressive experience in medical technology, computer science, PACS administration, or the healthcare sector
• Experience in cardiology or radiology is preferred
• An Associate’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant healthcare field is required
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant healthcare field is preferred
• Registered credential in one or more relevant disciplines, including RDCS, RVT, Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Registered Nurse Cardiac, or ARRT Registered Radiology Technologist
• Experience with relevant modalities such as transthoracic echo, transesophageal echo, stress echo, pediatric echo, fetal echo, ECG, MPI, MUGA, PET, cath, peripheral angiography, or electrophysiology lab
• Background in medical imaging
• Experience in healthcare, software applications, or the IT industry
• Professional demeanor
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Capability to collaborate with end users and clinical supervisors
• Proven end-user computer skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Technical support and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to identify workflow requirements and align them with product features
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Established IT/Healthcare experience
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to comply with U.S. FDA medical device requirements, ISO 13485 standards, and relevant laws
• Capability to meet vendor-credentialing requirements for access to hospitals and facilities
• Ability to sit for 75–100% of the applicable work time
• Capability to use hands and fingers to manipulate items and keyboards for up to 100% of the applicable work time
• Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of the applicable work time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds for up to 20% of the applicable work time
• Ability to walk long distances and navigate stairs
• Close vision capability at 20 inches or less
• Ability to adapt to changes in air pressure during travel
• Frequent travel, up to 75%, may be necessary
