This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Deliver clinical design and product support to eye care professionals, including practitioners, doctors, fitters, and staff through comprehensive training, product education, contact lens consultations, and technical assistance.
• Address both clinical and non-clinical inquiries via phone and email.
• Assess clinical images, scans, and various data to discuss adjustments in lens parameters for optimal patient fit.
• Provide guidance to eye care professionals regarding MSA product lens designs and suggest products that align with the needs of practitioners and their patients.
• Direct practitioners and relevant staff to available clinical training resources.
• Work collaboratively with Clinical Consultants, Senior Clinical Consultants, Sales, and Customer Service teams.
• Manage a balance of incoming and outgoing consultation calls, clinical services, and cross-training within the department.
• Identify potential clients and connect them with Education Consultants or Sales team members.
• Attend lab seminars, conventions, and meetings with practitioners to represent the company.
• Keep accurate records for lens designs, initial orders, and adjustments to ECP lens parameters.
• Utilize RA/QA expertise to address customer complaints and inquiries, including compliance with FDA incident-reporting standards.
• Present case studies during team meetings.
• Perform job responsibilities effectively in a home office setting.
• Report directly to the Supervisor of Clinical Consultation.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in contact lens fitting, consulting, or design – Preferred.
• Licensed fitting optician and/or NCLE certified – Preferred.
• Actively pursuing professional licensure and/or NCLE certification within two years of employment.
• Access to a functional internet connection and a quiet private room is essential for discussions involving patient sensitivity.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Capability to learn Microsoft Dynamics or other necessary technologies in the future.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced phone environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within the Americas, not exceeding 10% of the time.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without the need for future employer-sponsored work authorization.
