Clinical Budget Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for forecasting, managing, and ensuring transparency of vendor-related costs for all clinical trials.

• This role involves working with extensive datasets from clinical, procurement, and contract databases.

• Ensure the accuracy and punctuality of vendor reports, which include quarterly budget reconciliations and reports on global spending transparency.

• Conduct one-on-one meetings with study team members and vendors to synchronize on vendor costs, invoicing, and financial reconciliations.

• Lead the change control process regarding study design alterations that affect the budget, ensuring team alignment and accurate forecasting.

• Oversee the closeout process for vendor budgets, including final invoice reconciliations and updates to contracts and purchase orders.

• Monitor the financial status of studies, programs, or vendors (including project specifications, units, invoicing, change orders, and forecasting) and collaborate with finance as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a BA/BS degree, preferably in Finance or Business.

• You have experience with clinical trial budgets or in conducting clinical trials.

• You are a critical thinker with a keen attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to utilize multiple databases and handle large datasets (operations, outsourcing, procurement, fair market values).

• Proficient in MS Excel, with experience in modeling and forecasting.

• Experience in reviewing vendor budgets to pinpoint cost drivers.

• Familiarity with accounts payable processes and systems, including purchase orders and invoices.
