This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main point of contact for EHR-related support, configuration advice, and workflow troubleshooting for internal teams and provider practices.
• Identify, take ownership of, and resolve EHR and clinical application issues through complete resolution, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with practice onboarding, which includes EHR access setup, workflow discovery, CEHRT review, and validation of system readiness.
• Analyze clinical workflows to enhance documentation, coding, and structured data capture at the point of care.
• Create and maintain standardized EHR workflow guidance, templates, and reference materials.
• Advocate for optimized clinical documentation and discrete data capture to minimize dependency on manual chart abstraction.
• Facilitate configuration and optimization for patient flagging, diagnosis code workflows, and quality-focused documentation.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and EHR vendors on workflow enhancements that support value-based care initiatives.
• Contribute to projects aimed at optimizing clinical data by identifying workflow gaps and structured data improvements.
• Assist with EHR integrations, clinical data feeds, vendor transitions, and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Support QRDA I file acquisition via coordination of practice/vendor extraction, file validation, and error follow-up.
• Engage in CEHRT compliance verification and documentation tasks.
• An Associate’s degree in healthcare, business, information systems, or a related field is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in supporting EHR systems, clinical applications, or healthcare technology environments.
• Direct experience collaborating with provider practices, clinical staff, or healthcare operations teams.
• Familiarity with popular EHR platforms such as Epic, NextGen, Athenahealth, Practice Fusion, Allscripts, or similar systems.
• Understanding of clinical workflows, documentation practices, and structured data capture for quality reporting purposes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of resolving issues effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to documentation.
• Ability to effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, including Teams and SharePoint.
