This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• The Clinical Account Manager (CAM) serves as the main point of contact for customers to generate sales demand by implementing marketing strategies and promoting Sobi products as guided by the Regional Sales Director.
• In this pivotal role, the CAM offers up-to-date and thorough clinical knowledge of Sobi’s products and effectively conveys the on-label clinical advantages of these products.
• As a leader in sales, the CAM is anticipated to meet territory sales objectives by executing Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies, which involve delivering branded sales messages to clients, representing Sobi at local gatherings, and achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• Responsible for advocating Sobi’s products and services to a designated customer base, the CAM is tasked with generating and increasing sales while consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals within a specific geographic region and actively endorsing the proper use of Sobi products to healthcare professionals in alignment with all Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.
• Develops and executes a territory business plan to fulfill customer requirements and attain sales objectives, along with conducting weekly analyses of territory sales data to prioritize physician targeting and ensure the accurate reporting of physicians.
• Prepares budget plans for the territory related to customer interactions, local symposia, and other miscellaneous external expenses.
• Aids in identifying and resolving issues and opportunities while proactively communicating with sales and marketing management. Reports all adverse events to Sobi’s Drug Safety department as appropriate, in accordance with required guidelines.
• Completes all administrative responsibilities associated with the role, which includes timely reporting of call activities and customer information into the designated call reporting system, submitting expenses, and more.
• Must be located within the designated territory.
• BA/BS degree in business or a scientific field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in dedicated hospital sales within the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry, with at least 3 years of specialty sales experience in the same sectors.
• A CAM should possess at least 3 years of biologics sales experience utilizing a specialty pharmacy or 8 years of dedicated hospital selling experience.
• Familiarity with the transition of care/patient journey processes from hospital to outpatient settings is essential.
• Proven track record of high sales performance.
• Experience with single source pharmacies, reimbursement programs, managed care, and formulary processes.
• Strong work ethic, capacity to establish priorities, and ability to manage time effectively within an extensive assigned geography.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including overnight stays, which may reach 40-50% in certain instances.
