This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• The CAM is tasked with establishing the company as a frontrunner in the Nephrology sector and enhancing sales within their designated territory.
• Collaborate with customers by delivering unparalleled support to diagnose and manage patients with these uncommon conditions.
• Oversee all business-related operations within their geographic area, which includes meeting sales objectives, business planning, and managing expenses.
• Primarily engage with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) who specialize in Nephrology at targeted institutions and offices.
• Interact with providers who manage patients with rare kidney diseases and offer education on the advantages of utilizing Travere therapies.
• Compliantly assist in the processes necessary to provide patients with access to therapies.
• Offer educational support to a patient community that is currently underserved.
• A bachelor’s degree is required in a related field; a background in life sciences or clinical areas is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of pertinent pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in engaging with prescribers of specialized, high-value products.
• Candidates should exhibit a consistent history of sales achievements, including measurable and documented sales results and recognitions.
• Experience in rare diseases or highly specialized products is preferred.
• Prior experience working with academic institutions is desirable.
• Previous experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
• Nephrology experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with products distributed through specialty pharmacies is beneficial.
• Proven ability to plan, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify and leverage business opportunities.
• Proficiency with a Sales Force Automation tool and fundamental business software is required.
• A reliable personal vehicle that meets the minimum requirements for conducting business with the company is necessary.
• A background check, including a Motor Vehicle Record review, is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 30% overnight is required.
