This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Drive demand through clinical selling and education for referring and treating healthcare providers regarding Cortrophin Gel.
• Develop and implement a territory strategy along with account-specific plans to enhance physician and patient identification, market development, and brand awareness in Pulmonology; continuously evaluate sales opportunities within markets and accounts to sustain and expand the business.
• Prioritize and manage resources, activities, and time effectively to optimize access to and development of accounts with the highest sales potential.
• Create individual account plans for key accounts and physicians, detailing strategies for customer engagement and maximizing sales outcomes.
• Foster and maintain relationships with physicians by optimizing their time through pre-call planning, utilizing insights to tailor a call plan, and performing post-call analysis to continuously improve and enhance their approach.
• Collaborate with members of the Cortrophin brand team and facilitate appropriate cooperation with other functions, such as MSLs, Market Access team, patient HUB, and other internal stakeholders, to ensure access and logistics are in place for patient benefits from Cortrophin Gel.
• Engage externally with key accounts and physicians to enhance patient identification through market development and physician education; formulate a territory strategy to retain customers.
• Uphold the highest standards of integrity and compliance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree in business or science is preferred.
• Over 5 years of proven success in rare disease or specialty pharmaceutical sales.
• Experience in Pulmonology is highly preferred.
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends as necessary for physician or patient events (both in-person and virtual).
• Depending on geographic location, must be capable of managing a multi-state territory with a diverse customer base.
• A driver's license is required, with overnight travel expected to range from 40% to 60% depending on the geography and business needs of the individual territory.
