This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Develop and execute territory business plans that are in line with brand objectives and overall business goals.
• Create detailed strategic business plans featuring measurable objectives and action-oriented strategies.
• Responsibly allocate resources while upholding strong operating principles and high ethical standards.
• Achieve or surpass assigned sales targets.
• Convey authorized disease state and product information to customers using persuasive selling techniques in accordance with AbbVie Promotional Policy.
• Leverage sales analytics and customer insights to formulate strategic plans.
• Implement sales and marketing initiatives within the territory, collaborating with cross-functional partners and utilizing approved resources.
• Stay informed about the evolving marketplace, changes within the territory, disease states, and products.
• Work together with territory partners and external stakeholders.
• Create and execute call plans to meet metrics and optimize customer engagement and frequency.
• Adhere to laws, regulations, and policies governing AbbVie operations.
• Cultivate professional relationships with oncologists, nursing staff, office personnel, and others involved in oncology patient care.
• Report directly to the District Manager.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Over 6 years of oncology sales experience, including solid tumors, is preferred.
• Demonstrated history of exceeding sales expectations.
• Outstanding ability to communicate effectively and clearly using a consultative selling approach.
• Strong competitive selling skills.
• Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Must successfully pass AbbVie’s background check.
• Must clear additional institutional and health facility screenings as required, which may include immunization, TB, HIV, hepatitis, and drug screenings.
• Regular business travel by air or vehicle is necessary.
• Must be able to operate a personal vehicle or a company-provided car, truck, or powered material handling equipment.
• Should reside within a reasonable distance from Cleveland, Akron, Toledo, Lorain, Canton, and nearby areas.
