This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee a designated sales territory
• Reside within the specified territory
• Manage and enhance business within existing Ambry accounts
• Increase menu utilization across current accounts
• Market genetic diagnostic testing services to prospective customers
• Negotiate and oversee contract management
• Introduce new testing products to the client base
• Cultivate demand for and encourage the adoption of new assays
• Create and execute customer-specific action plans
• Develop and present engaging presentations
• Organize and support trade shows
• Maintain customer data within the company database
• Meet and exceed sales objectives
• Additional duties as assigned
• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in selling laboratory services to clinicians and hospitals or in medical device sales
• Bachelor’s Degree is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experienced with CRM applications, such as Salesforce or Microsoft CRM
• Proven history of sales achievement with a diverse portfolio of laboratory testing across various medical specialties
• Capability to sell technically sophisticated products
• Expertise in demand generation across a large geographic area
• Strong skills in networking and relationship building
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities
• Some formal sales training experience, such as SPIN Selling or PSS
• Strong organizational skills in time and territory management
• Must hold and maintain a current, valid driver’s license unless otherwise agreed upon
• Preferred: Experience in oncology
• Experience in diagnostic and/or genetic testing
