This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Propel the utilization of Tempus's MRD testing services within the designated territory, concentrating on prominent U.S. cancer centers, health systems, and community practices.
• Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and decision-makers to create and enhance business opportunities.
• Formulate strategic plans to attract new clients and maintain current ones, optimizing client-bill contracting prospects.
• Execute laboratory services agreements (LSAs) with institutions that choose client billing.
• Work in conjunction with various sales roles at Tempus to ensure achievement of company goals and objectives.
• Recognize and cultivate partnership opportunities between oncology clients and Tempus, advocating for the integration of MRD testing into clinical practice.
• Provide insights to Tempus leadership based on market analysis and competitive landscape within designated accounts.
• Create and implement a thorough business plan for the territory, encompassing budgets, travel, territory management, and goal setting.
• Uphold Tempus's company culture with integrity, respect, and trust in interactions with both external and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to sell integrated molecular diagnostic solutions and partake in consultative selling processes.
• Proficient in engaging with executive-level stakeholders (CEO, COO, CFO).
• Comprehensive understanding of the payer and reimbursement landscape in oncology diagnostics.
• Strong independent work ethic complemented by excellent communication, project management, and prioritization skills.
• Well-versed in molecular diagnostics, MRD testing, and the competitive landscape in oncology.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint, alongside regular use of Salesforce.com.
• Capable of building cross-functional relationships to achieve work goals and objectives.
• Exceptional presentation skills, business acumen, and the capacity to operate effectively with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor's degree in life science, biology, business, or marketing – MBA preferred.
• Over 3 years of direct account management experience in a molecular diagnostic context, with a preference for MRD testing exposure.
• Proven history of revenue generation in a diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology organization.
• Experience collaborating with major cancer centers, oncology GPOs, large health systems, and oncology practices.
