Clinic Scheduler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +21 more states.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming phone calls and address inquiries regarding provider scheduling.

• Channel calls to the right individuals and take as well as distribute messages effectively.

• Coordinate medical appointments by aligning patients, providers, locations, and payers.

• Make and receive calls to and from patients, providers, and external provider offices.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) scheduling software to arrange appointments, tests, and procedures.

• Professionally handle incoming calls promptly and schedule patient appointments.

• Accurately gather patient demographics, including address, telephone, and insurance details.

• Oversee electronic requests via drop boxes and patient portals.

• Manage fax distribution and assist with necessary requests.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of administration or related experience is preferred.

• Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred.

• Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and OSHA standards is preferred.

• Must maintain HIPAA compliance at all times.

• Capability to reside and work primarily in one of the following states: AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MI, NC, NJ, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI.
