Climate Change Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute and oversee emission reduction initiatives throughout the complete cycles of project validation, registration, verification, and issuance.

• Prepare technical project documents, feasibility studies, templates, concept notes, and monitoring reports in accordance with internal and external requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards such as VCS, Gold Standard, CDM, GCC, I-RECs, and others as required.

• Perform baseline and additionality assessments for projects, including both technical and financial analyses.

• Manage relationships with project owners, third-party auditors, standards organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Collaborate closely with the business development team on project due diligence, proposal preparation, and offer expert guidance.

• Conduct site visits to project locations, which may be remote and require challenging travel conditions.

• Review technical documents produced by team members as well as those from third parties such as auditors, project owners, and partners.

• Adhere to internal guidelines, tools, and software, ensuring that key information and milestones are consistently updated.

• Provide essential training and guidance to team members on technical topics, project management, scheduling, and tools.

• Define the vision, strategy, goals, and priorities for Coral Future’s project portfolio while actively seeking new business opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in Engineering, Science, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 2-5 years of experience in Project Management or a related field is advantageous; however, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in producing high-quality technical documents in English.

• Capability to convey complex subjects in simple terms to diverse stakeholders.

• Expertise in managing timelines and targets, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Willingness to travel both locally and internationally, including to remote project sites.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with key internal and external stakeholders.

• Comfort in a fast-paced, international, and multicultural environment.

• Proficient in online communication platforms such as WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet, and Skype, and adept at working across various time zones.

• Competent in using Microsoft Office and Google Workspaces.
