This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Handles the processing of new hires, terminations, and change forms for clients.
• Manages employee enrollments, renewals, modifications, and terminations for medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and various benefits programs.
• Maintains and updates quality control sheets.
• Processes reconciliation reports from the Reconciliation team for 401(k) and 403(b) Retirement Contributions, ensuring accurate tracking.
• Assists in data entry and upkeep of client employee information as directed by the Client Account Managers.
• Utilizes the internal tracking system to prioritize and retrieve work efficiently.
• Inputs work into the internal tracking system.
• Ensures regular and punctual attendance.
• Continuously educates oneself on new developments in benefits and payroll.
• Provides general administrative support for the Client Services department as required.
• Acts as a backup for answering the HRK main phone line.
• Engages in special projects as necessary.
• Demonstrates willingness and flexibility to assist with any urgent matters that may arise within the company, even if they fall outside the immediate responsibilities of the role.
• Works overtime as needed.
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of prior experience in HR/Benefits is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Exceptional organizational abilities, with a strong attention to detail and robust administrative and analytical skills.
• Dependable and maintains a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
• Thrives in a dynamic environment, adept at prioritizing responsibilities and tasks to meet deadlines effectively.
• Personable, a good listener, and capable of communicating effectively with all staff and clients through both written and verbal methods.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating procedures, quality control procedures, and instructions.
• Capable of speaking effectively in one-on-one situations and in front of groups.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
