This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.
• Take ownership of a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring full accountability for both retention and growth.
• Identify risks associated with accounts and address any performance deficiencies.
• Maintain and enhance existing revenue streams through effective account management.
• Promote the upsell of the Labcorp Oncology and Invitae HerCan offerings within current accounts.
• Increase the adoption of hereditary cancer testing and boost utilization of oncology diagnostics.
• Expand the volume share across various service lines, departments, and care pathways.
• Develop and implement account plans to optimize the volume of oncology and hereditary cancer testing.
• Analyze ordering patterns, provider behaviors, and utilization trends to uncover expansion opportunities.
• Act as the primary contact for health systems, oncologists, surgeons, genetic counselors, and practice administrators.
• Cultivate relationships across clinical and operational teams.
• Lead business reviews aimed at evaluating performance, utilization trends, and optimizing care delivery.
• Spearhead the implementation and expansion of oncology and hereditary cancer solutions within existing accounts.
• Ensure integration into clinical workflows and sustained utilization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and enhance account performance.
• Provide educational resources, data insights, and alignment with workflows for providers.
• Work alongside Specialty Development Executives to support expansion initiatives.
• Coordinate account strategy across various roles.
• Collaborate with the National Accounts team on enterprise strategies and system-wide initiatives.
• Execute local initiatives to align with health system priorities.
• Engage in field work, in-person account management, provider engagement, and implementation support.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare account management, client success, or a similar client-facing role.
• Familiarity with workflows related to hereditary cancer testing and oncology care.
• Proven success in driving upsell and utilization within complex health systems.
• Strong analytical skills to convert data into actionable insights.
• Strategic account management expertise, emphasizing retention and expansion.
• In-depth understanding of oncology and hereditary cancer testing portfolios.
• Ability to influence provider behavior and promote adoption.
• Strong abilities in cross-functional collaboration.
• Data-driven decision-making skills.
• Proficient in executive presentation skills, presence, and business acumen.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in oncology, genetics, diagnostics, or laboratory services is preferred.
