Client Services Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct the strategic vision and daily management of a significant client account providing integrated Publications programs

• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders in a strategic advisory capacity

• Collaborate with Scientific Services, Editorial, Digital, Creative, and Operations teams to deliver scientific communications that align with client goals

• Supervise account financial health, encompassing forecasting, budgeting, profitability, and resource allocation

• Recognize opportunities for organic growth within the account

• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the Client Services team

• Promote operational excellence through best practices and enhanced delivery processes

• Assist in business development through proposals and strategic planning efforts

• Work alongside senior leadership on larger business initiatives and resource management

• Keep abreast of trends in Medical Communications, scientific publications, AI, and omnichannel engagement

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Client Services within a medical communications agency, particularly in supporting Publications accounts

• Demonstrated ability to cultivate trusted relationships with senior pharmaceutical clients and lead complex, integrated scientific communications initiatives

• Strong financial and commercial awareness, with a track record in managing budgets, forecasting, profitability, and fostering organic account growth

• Experience in leading, coaching, and developing high-performing Client Services teams while collaborating across various multidisciplinary areas

• Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management abilities

• Background in supporting business development efforts, including proposals, pitches, and enhancing existing client partnerships

• Collaborative and solutions-oriented leadership style
