This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Accountable for nurturing client relationships while ensuring superior client service and delivery to the client portfolio.
• Responsible for managing a portfolio of clients that includes Collateral Loan Obligations (CLOs) and Leverage Finance Facilities.
• Oversee daily operations and the reporting process to clients.
• Operate with minimal oversight on daily tasks, executing and managing deals independently.
• Develop technical report specifications derived from indenture language.
• Configure payment calculations across various in-house systems.
• Obtain, map, and reconcile periodic collateral data.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual payment and tax reports.
• Collaborate with operations teams to guarantee accurate payment processing.
• Conduct quality control reviews of reports, ensuring adherence to timeliness and accuracy standards.
• Execute portfolio compliance tests on structured fixed income transactions (trade testing).
• Maintain regular communication with asset managers, investors, auditors, and rating agencies.
• Deliver exceptional service to a portfolio of Loan Clients within the Corporate Trust sector.
• Engage in proposals for new clients.
• Lead projects related to business operations.
• Handle tax elections, apply for EINs, and monitor residual holder transfers.
• Interpret trust indentures concerning reporting obligations.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or in a similar domain.
• High school diploma is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of general banking operations, such as deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of pertinent regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, as well as industry standards and practices.
• Preferred experience with TranStar at an intermediate to advanced level.
• Intermediate proficiency in both verbal and written communication skills.
