📋 Description

• The Client Relations Consultant will play a key role in strategically expanding the Company’s business opportunity pipeline across various lines of business.

• This position will develop and promote selling opportunities for the enterprise-wide sales team by engaging daily with decision-makers in healthcare organizations nationwide to generate new client prospects and qualified leads.

• Collaboration with peers and the outside sales team will be essential to implement a structured strategy aimed at enhancing the Workforce Solutions team’s lead generation, meeting scheduling, presentations, and opportunity win rate.

• The consultant will cultivate ongoing relationships with client prospects that enable enterprise-wide sales staff to engage directly with clients.

• The product portfolio encompasses, but is not limited to, Travel Nurse/Allied Staffing, Per Diem Staffing, Technology, and Locum Tenens Staffing.

• A systematic approach will be employed to identify prospective clients.

• The consultant will analyze current market dynamics to become adept at recognizing new or evolving opportunities/solutions for Cross Country to explore with potential clients.

• Effective coordination of conference calls, meetings, and travel for multiple sales executives across different regions in the United States will be required.

• The consultant will work with various regional sales leaders to develop a strategic business development plan that supports quarterly and annual revenue objectives.

• A robust client outreach initiative will be executed primarily through phone, email, and social media, adhering to established metrics for conversion to new business.

• The consultant will successfully navigate internet websites and social media platforms to gather targeted market and client data.

• It will be essential to ensure that current competitive information is maintained within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

• Engaging effectively with business unit leadership, sales leadership, and delivery specialists (e.g., Search Consultants, Account Managers) will be crucial to leverage all potential business opportunities.

• The consultant will serve as the primary point of contact for internal research operations and data operations teams to enhance business development efforts.

• Researching and preparing strategic briefings on potential clients’ previous experiences across Cross Country’s array of services will be part of the role.

• Achieving monthly and quarterly goals/metrics will be expected.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree and at least three years of experience in a related inside sales or B2B role are required, with healthcare staffing experience being preferred.

• Proven success in executing a territory penetration plan with clear and measurable results is necessary.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, showcasing the ability to engage credibly with top decision-makers in major healthcare organizations.

• A professional presentation style and demeanor that conveys warmth and professionalism over the phone are essential.

• Comfort with making numerous cold calls to healthcare organizations nationwide to identify appropriate decision-makers is required.

• A commitment to achieving goals and resilience in the face of declining client interest is necessary.

• Demonstrated proficiency in geography, the ability to read maps, and the capability to adjust schedules, meetings, and travel times according to United States time zones are required.

• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite products within a Windows environment, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, is essential.

• Prior experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application is preferred, with Salesforce being ideal.

• The ability to conduct efficient and productive Internet research is necessary.

• Capability to multi-task and prioritize shifting responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced, client-driven environment with changing demands and occasionally conflicting assignments is required.
