This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +8 more states.
• Lead the development and/or execution of consulting service engagements designed to fulfill business plan objectives for acquiring new clients in the Business Resilience sector.
• Become part of a dynamic team focused on creating and promoting client-centric service offerings nationwide through both direct (B2B) and partnership (B2B2B) distribution channels.
• Anticipate 30-50% travel.
• Proactively manage daily activities to meet personal sales and business performance goals.
• Market technical products, services, installations, and configurations to potential new clients for specific technical products and/or applications.
• Serve as the liaison between potential clients and risk engineering representatives.
• Investigate client technical specifications and requirements alongside current or potential specifications of company products and services.
• Cultivate, develop, and sustain profitable relationships to advance ZRS’s offerings, including negotiations, new proposals, and terminations when necessary.
• Assess strategies to enhance new client acquisitions and profitability for ZRS.
• Supervise the creation of sales pipelines and ensure accurate and timely updates to the CRM database throughout the sales process.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients and company representatives.
• Formulate potential technical specifications, pricing strategies, and contract requirements for new client acquisition.
• Offer insights that empower prospective clients to address challenges or enhance business operations.
• Anticipate client needs and monitor trends to suggest necessary adaptations.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 7 or more years of experience in Sales OR High School Diploma or Equivalent with 9 or more years of experience in Sales OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 7 or more years of experience in Sales.
• Experience in the insurance industry and/or physical risk consulting.
• Demonstrated success in sales through direct B2B channels in the US, with preferably some exposure to partnership/affinity distribution.
• Strong background in consultative sales solutions.
• Experience in a consulting firm.
• Knowledge in governance, risk, and compliance consulting.
• Capability to influence C-Suite executives.
• Experience in a "scale-up" business environment with ambitious growth objectives.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with influential management capabilities.
• Background in a risk organization with expertise in risk assessment, thought leadership, and delivering risk insights.
• Excellent strategic planning and execution abilities.
