This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Lead and manage a portfolio of HR Digital Transformation initiatives.
• Act as the Executive Sponsor for high-impact projects.
• Mentor, manage, and motivate a team of Project Managers.
• Develop and implement program governance frameworks, KPIs, and digital workflows.
• Cultivate and sustain trusted relationships with senior executives and HR leaders.
• Supervise program budgets utilizing cloud-based financial tools.
• Proactively identify and address risks across programs.
• Promote the adoption of innovative HR technologies.
• Facilitate collaboration among global, multinational teams.
• Establish and continuously enhance delivery standards.
• Ensure compliance of all programs with internal policies and external regulations.
• Identify and seek opportunities to broaden Mercer’s service offerings.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews, trend analysis, and predictive risk assessments.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s Degree or MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, consulting, or client-facing roles.
• At least 7 years of experience leading HR Digital Transformation initiatives, preferably with Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire teams of Project Managers in hybrid or remote settings.
• Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong strategic and analytical mindset.
• Extensive knowledge of project and program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, PMP, or equivalent certifications).
• Advanced proficiency with tools such as Office365, Microsoft Project, Power BI, Tableau, Jira, Smartsheets, and/or Asana.
• Significant hands-on experience with Workday and familiarity with HR tech trends like AI, RPA, or cloud integrations.
• Workday Certification is strongly preferred.
