This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Create comprehensive annual and quarterly Strategic Sales Action Plans for accounts and submit them for approval.
• Maintain regular communication with property-based sales staff to ensure up-to-date product knowledge and aligned sales strategies.
• Collaborate with property sales, revenue management, and reservations teams; lead efforts to close transient leads.
• Evaluate transient sales leads and follow up to secure desirable new bookings.
• Analyze account transient productivity utilizing internal BI tools and external data to meet customer objectives.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with key contacts, decision makers, bookers, and influencers within managed accounts.
• Conduct regular product training sessions for accounts.
• Organize events with select key accounts and their clients.
• Communicate seasonal promotions for the global Belmond portfolio.
• Utilize selling, negotiating, and closing techniques to enhance conversion ratios.
• Assist the Director of Sales with annual sales series, strategic partner events, and trade shows.
• Plan and accompany educational trips to key Belmond destinations as required.
• Attend relevant industry events and meetings to represent the Company’s brand.
• Maintain relationships with tourism boards, airlines, DMCs, and other industry partners.
• Provide feedback on market conditions and trends to the direct manager.
• Execute prospecting plans and add new active accounts to the Belmond account portfolio.
• Master Tableau BI tools and conduct strategic analyses of markets, properties, and account performance.
• Keep an accurate account and contact database, logging sales activities in OSC.
• Manage expenses and maintain annual costs within allocated resources.
• Prepare production, account management, and other sales reports.
• Support the Corporate Marketing communications plan through proactive engagement on social media.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in client management, sales, or a similar role within the hospitality or luxury travel industry.
• Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets and expanding key accounts.
• Solid understanding of transient sales and commercial performance analysis.
• Strong background in account planning, lead conversion, and client relationship management.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools; experience with OSC, Tableau, or similar BI/reporting platforms is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales, revenue, and reservations teams across multiple properties.
