This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison for clients within your portfolio.
• Prepare applications and other necessary documentation for submissions.
• Conduct contract reviews to ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
• Generate certificates of insurance, invoices, and financial agreements.
• Process endorsements and manage audits.
• Evaluate and compare current exposures to create specifications for renewal or new business marketing.
• Engage in marketing efforts, negotiate rates, and assess quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy.
• Review and summarize marketing outcomes and develop proposals.
• Oversee the renewal marketing and binding process in collaboration with the Producer and, occasionally, a Client Executive.
• Verify the accuracy of binders, policies, endorsements, and audits.
• Prepare coverage summaries and/or schedules for clients.
• Involve yourself in the claims process, including submission, follow-up, and overall communication.
• Ensure that all financial activities related to invoicing and premium financing are executed accurately and promptly.
• Maintain files in line with company policies and professional standards set by the Department of Insurance.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in facilitating seamless new and renewal marketing, placement, and policy delivery.
• Experience in servicing accounts, including handling endorsements, audits, and invoicing.
• Strong understanding of coverages, carrier guidelines, underwriting practices, and legislative updates.
• Keen attention to detail and robust organizational skills.
• Excellent mathematical abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Quick adaptability to new technologies.
• Active Property & Casualty license.
• Preferred experience in managing Construction accounts.
• Willingness to travel to client locations, including occasional overnight stays for out-of-state visits.
• Proficient in using a keyboard and other office equipment.
• College degree is not mandatory; preferred.
• Insurance designation is preferred.
