This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify and target strategic markets and clients for service offerings.
• Build and maintain effective peer-to-peer relationships with customers and potential clients.
• Assist in sales initiatives by providing support for client relationships and participating in sales calls to drive business growth.
• Create and implement lead generation strategies.
• Work alongside the team to pinpoint opportunities and plan as well as execute growth strategies.
• Manage the negotiation process for contracts in conjunction with operations and legal teams.
• Conduct market research and analysis.
• Assess operational challenges to evaluate the organization's competitiveness and relevance with the latest industry trends.
• Facilitate and oversee the proposal process, ensuring successful completion and submission to clients.
• Monitor both external and internal environments to develop new market segments.
• Aid in the creation of marketing campaigns for new products and services.
• Help develop a feedback evaluation process to gather insights from clients.
• Solid experience in business development, sales, or marketing with a good understanding of the power/energy sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical power systems and related equipment.
• Capability to leverage various market channels including EPC, ESCOs, Utility Companies, Developers, Engineering Firms, End-Users, and Equipment Manufacturers.
• Proven track record in understanding customer needs and business drivers to formulate account plans and strategies.
• Strong leadership skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and a keen sense of urgency.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks independently.
• Proficient in effective communication both within and across teams; must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Develop business opportunities through comprehensive competitive and market analysis.
• Ability to cultivate and establish robust working relationships.
