This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Embody and promote the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within yourself and your team.
• Communicate with Banfield clients through telephone and email regarding overdue accounts for Wellness Plans, third-party collections, NSF’s, and/or hospital invoices.
• Implement various collection strategies to negotiate and secure account payments.
• Process and document transactions that are future, current, and past due.
• Identify and resolve payment and account discrepancies.
• Record calls and resolutions using all relevant systems to ensure service consistency.
• Support hospital teams with financial information related to Wellness Plans and non-Wellness Plans.
• Ensure an outstanding client experience for both internal and external clients in every interaction.
• Educate associates and clients on business standards pertaining to Wellness Plans.
• Safeguard client privacy, security, and company confidentiality.
• Perform additional job duties as required.
• An Associate’s degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that equips the individual with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• A minimum of one year of experience in customer service (call center, retail, hospitality, etc.) is required.
• Exceptional communication skills are essential.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and utilize time management skills is mandatory.
• Strong skills in client contact handling and active listening are required.
