This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage with clients to review specifications and project needs
• Collaborate with clients and vendors to explore project alternatives
• Organize meetings with key personnel from the client side
• Conduct gap analyses to identify system configuration requirements
• Offer consulting and advice on strategies to fulfill business needs
• Facilitate communication between technical teams at client and vendor locations
• Create data maps for technical files across different systems
• Implement project plans in collaboration with client staff and vendors
• Ensure that technical tasks are performed correctly and punctually
• Recognize and report unresolved issues to the designated project manager
• Assist in resolving issues as they arise
• Maintain quality throughout the implementation phase
• Convey technical implementation needs to third-party vendors and internal project support teams
• Confirm system parameters and perform testing
• Adjust program parameters as required
• Supply technical support during design, development, and implementation stages
• Offer extended-hour post-implementation assistance
• Provide occasional on-site support as necessary
• Adhere to change control and change management protocols
• Cultivate professional relationships with clients, internal business partners, and project team members
• Identify enhancements to departmental processes
• Complete tasks related to various departmental projects
• Render after-hours on-call support for project installations
• Perform other assigned duties
• An associate degree in a related field and/or a relevant combination of experience and education is required
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred
• A minimum of three years of related experience in the payment processing sector is required
• A comprehensive understanding of payment card products, support services, and processes is necessary
• Current Velera contractor resources in the same or equivalent position may qualify while fulfilling all job requirements
• Capability to consult on both business and technical requirements
• Ability to provide technical leadership for assigned implementations
• Skill in coordinating the operational implementation of technical deliverables
• Proficiency in performing gap analysis and defining system setup requirements
• Understanding of client business needs
• Effective communication between technical teams at client and vendor locations
• Aptitude for data mapping technical files between systems
• Ability to validate system parameters and execute testing
• Compliance with change control and change management processes
• Availability for after-hours/on-call and occasional on-site project support
