This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Address inquiries from clients and representatives promptly regarding questions, report status, concerns, and information requests.

• Input and access client or claimant details through various systems and databases.

• Maintain regular communication with the QA department concerning workflow and the status of pending reports.

• Reach out to providers for assignments and update the database accordingly.

• Organize and file both open and closed cases.

• Confirm client information and document specific guidelines and rules related to clients in the system.

• Work collaboratively with team members to resolve inquiries, document information, and expedite case returns.

• Route calls to other departments as required.

• Execute clerical tasks including typing, filing, emailing, and proofreading.

• Assist in resolving customer complaints and addressing quality assurance issues.

• Inform management of any report-related issues or concerns.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• At least one year of clerical experience; or a combination of education and experience is preferred.

• Previous experience in a medical office or the insurance industry is preferred.

• Proficient with general office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, scanners, and telephones.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.

• Capacity to be trained on and comply with HIPAA regulations and standards.

• A qualified typist with a minimum typing speed of 40 W.P.M.

• Ability to accurately follow instructions and management directives.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks, and managing time effectively.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Demonstrated ability to perform well in high-pressure or stressful situations.

• Competence in managing changes, delays, or unexpected events effectively.

• Commitment to following company policies and procedures.

• Must ensure compliance with state and federal safety and legal regulations.

• Competitive compensation at $17 per hour.
