Client Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create, review, and dispatch precise client invoices in accordance with contract specifications and service particulars.

• Manage the entire collections process, which includes prompt follow-ups, coordinating payment plans, and collaborating with Client Success to resolve disputes.

• Keep detailed, audit-ready billing and financial documentation.

• Identify payment risks early and work collaboratively across teams to find resolutions.

• Assist with unique billing situations such as payment plans, changes in scope, and client transitions.

• Recognize operational inefficiencies in the billing workflow and contribute to automation and process enhancements over time.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in billing operations, finance operations, accounts receivable/accounts payable, accounting, or related fields, where you have managed the complete invoicing and collections process.

• Exceptional attention to detail — you identify errors before they are sent out.

• Proficient in handling complex billing scenarios (such as tiered pricing, proration, deposits, payment plans, and disputes) and converting contract terms into accurate invoices.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills — you can conduct firm yet professional conversations regarding collections and clearly explain billing to clients.

• Familiarity with contemporary billing and payment platforms (e.g., Stripe, Ramp, Mercury), strong spreadsheet capabilities, and comfort in utilizing CRM and ticketing systems.
