• Oversees comprehensive GCS management for highly complex global clinical trials.
• Ensures that project and study activities adhere to both company and client standards.
• Mentors and trains junior team members while providing continuous support.
• May serve as the primary contact and escalation point for designated clients.
• Offers consultation services to clients and may create and update client-specific manuals.
• Develops and nurtures client relationships.
• Establishes client-specific governance and standards for each assigned client.
• Collaborates with internal teams to synchronize efforts, offer recommendations and assess risks, and update project reports and spreadsheets.
• Integrates all GCS functions to align with project strategy and ensure compliance with GxP requirements.
• Engages in ongoing training regarding new regulations.
• Involved in various aspects of the bidding process, including providing insights, developing strategies, drafting proposals, and establishing parameters for business deliverables.
• Represents the department in internal and external meetings, strategic projects, business development strategy calls, bid reviews, bid defense meetings, and initiatives as required by the business.
• Participates in or leads initiatives aimed at process improvement.
• Actively facilitates the implementation of new processes within the department.
• Utilizes existing tools while consistently seeking opportunities for enhancement.
• Advises clients on optimal strategies for managing clinical trials.
• Cultivates a robust internal and external network.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant formal academic or vocational qualifications.
• Prior experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role (approximately 8+ years).
• Excellent proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal, planning, negotiation, influencing, organizational, problem-solving, urgency, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Extensive understanding of Global Clinical Supplies (GCS) concepts and their application to clinical trials, including a solid grasp of logistics and material management processes.
• Experience in Cell and Gene therapy is a plus.
