This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Act as the NAVY/NAVFAC Client Account Manager for AECOM DCS.

• Propel sustainable and replicable growth for the NAVY/NAVFAC account, focusing on the Navy’s Pacific and West Regions.

• Create and oversee strategic positioning and account plans.

• Recognize external market influences, competitors, and small-business prospects.

• Allocate resources and funding to facilitate growth.

• Collaborate with Regional Business Lines and Business Line Leaders.

• Develop target opportunities, set growth objectives, and track sales prospects.

• Maintain portfolio integrity and optimize across regions and business lines.

• Track account performance, bookings, pipeline, and monthly forecasts.

• Review and update the Salesforce pipeline, ensuring capture plans for significant pursuits.

• Assist with teaming, negotiations, pricing, proposals, risk management approvals, and federal requirements.

• Monitor contract capacity, bookings, subcontractor standing, and relationships.

• Lead and foster relationships with NAVY/NAVFAC regions, engineering commands, and research and development centers.

• Coordinate cross-agency opportunities with Air Force and Army Client Account Managers.

• Oversee corrective measures and monitor recoveries to guarantee client satisfaction.

• Support FAR compliance, joint-venture boards, contract performance assessments, and risk evaluations.

• Address organizational conflict-of-interest challenges.

• Communicate account status, progress towards objectives, and account metrics.

• Enhance the AECOM brand and strengthen the Department of War team of teams.

• Uphold HR requirements and negotiate objectives for assigned personnel.

• Manage client relations, market analysis, strategy, positioning, capture, and NAVY/NAVFAC contract administration.

• Formulate and implement strategic and client account plans to meet annual goals and expand the program year-on-year.

• Advocate for AECOM Navy programs involving FMS, MILCON, SRM design, master planning, architecture and engineering services, environmental services, energy performance services, construction management, and construction quality assurance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related discipline relevant to AECOM’s business lines and NAVY/NAVFAC requirements.

• Minimum of 12 years of experience collaborating with US Federal government agencies on Architect-Engineering programs.

• At least 4 years of leadership experience, or a demonstrated equivalent of experience and/or education.

• Willingness to travel throughout CONUS and occasionally OCONUS as necessitated by projects and opportunities.

• US citizenship is mandatory.

• A Master’s or PhD in architecture, engineering, or a related discipline is highly preferred.

• Engineer/Architect Professional Registration (PE or AIA) is strongly preferred.

• Navy Civil Engineer Corps Captain rank or above is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of PFAS is highly preferred.

• Experience with Brooks Act procurement is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Energy Performance Services is highly preferred.

• Experience in waterfront design and construction is highly preferred.

• Experience in airfield design and construction is highly preferred.

• Capability to collaborate with NAVY/NAVFAC regions, engineering commands, research and development centers, and Systems Commands.
