This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Drive sustainable and repeatable account growth for the Navy/NAVFAC account, focusing on the Pacific and West Regions.
• Develop and oversee strategic plans, account plans, opportunity targets, growth objectives, and client acquisition strategies.
• Identify external market dynamics and determine resource allocation and investment strategies.
• Collaborate with regional business lines and leaders within those lines.
• Track and support sales opportunities, pipeline management, bookings, and monthly forecasts.
• Conduct weekly reviews of the Salesforce pipeline and ensure capture plans for significant pursuits are in place.
• Assist with team formation, negotiations, pricing, proposals, risk management approvals, and federal compliance.
• Take ownership of major proposals while monitoring contract capacity, bookings, subcontractor status, and relationships.
• Lead and manage relationships with Navy/NAVFAC regions, engineering commands, research and development centers, and other clients.
• Coordinate cross-agency opportunities with managers from the Air Force and Army.
• Supervise corrective actions and track recoveries to guarantee client satisfaction.
• Maintain awareness of FAR compliance and participate on joint-venture boards.
• Review CPAR reports and rebuttals, and communicate any risks associated with contract performance.
• Resolve conflicts of interest within the organization and coordinate Go/No-Go decisions.
• Communicate account status, objectives, metrics, and progress across business lines and leadership.
• Promote the AECOM brand and foster the Department of War's collaborative team environment.
• Uphold HR requirements and negotiate goals for assigned personnel.
• Manage client relations for Navy/NAVFAC, including market analysis, strategy, positioning, capture, and contract management.
• Develop and implement strategic and client account plans to meet annual goals and enhance the program year after year.
• Advocate for AECOM Navy programs offering architecture-engineering, environmental, energy, construction management, and related technical services.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field relevant to AECOM's business lines and Navy/NAVFAC requirements.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience working with US federal government agencies on architect-engineering projects.
• At least 4 years of leadership experience, or equivalent experience and/or education.
• Willingness to travel throughout the continental US and occasionally internationally.
• US citizenship is mandatory.
• Professional registration as an Engineer or Architect (PE or AIA) is highly desirable.
• A Master's or PhD degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Experience with PFAS, Brooks Act procurement, Energy Performance Services, waterfront design and construction, or airfield design and construction is highly desirable.
• Experience or rank as a Navy Civil Engineer Corps Captain or higher is also highly desirable.
