This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Drive sustainable and reproducible growth of NAVY/NAVFAC accounts, with a focus on the Navy’s Pacific and West Regions.

• Formulate and oversee strategic plans that take into account external market influences, resource distribution, competitor assessments, and SB/SDB evaluations.

• Collaborate with AECOM Regional Business Lines and Business Line Leaders.

• Create account plans, set opportunity targets, establish growth objectives, and define regional engagement aims.

• Monitor and facilitate sales opportunities, maintain portfolio quality, and project bookings and pipeline forecasts.

• Conduct weekly reviews and updates of the Salesforce pipeline, ensuring capture plans are in place for significant pursuits.

• Assist in forming teams and negotiations while coordinating with FBS and Marketing.

• Oversee risk-management approvals, pricing strategies, proposal assessments, and compliance with federal requirements.

• Take charge of major proposals and supervise contract capacity and program bookings.

• Build and manage relationships with NAVY/NAVFAC regions, engineering commands, and research and development centers.

• Coordinate cross-agency opportunities with Air Force and Army CAMs.

• Supervise corrective measures and track recoveries to guarantee client satisfaction.

• Ensure compliance with FAR, joint venture boards, CPAR reviews, rebuttals, and contract performance evaluations.

• Address organizational conflicts of interest and act as an ombudsman.

• Communicate the status of accounts, objectives, and metrics across different business lines and regional borders.

• Advocate for the AECOM brand and foster the Department of War team collaboration.

• Uphold HR requirements and negotiate objectives for assigned personnel.

• Manage client relationships, conduct market analyses, develop strategies, and oversee NAVY/NAVFAC contract management.

• Create and implement strategic and client account plans to meet annual targets and consistently grow the program.

• Promote AECOM Navy programs by providing architecture, engineering, environmental, energy, construction management, and construction quality assurance services.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field that aligns with AECOM’s business lines and NAVY/NAVFAC client requirements.

• Minimum of 12 years of experience collaborating with US Federal government agencies on Architect-Engineering programs.

• At least 4 years of leadership experience, or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

• US citizenship is mandatory.

• Willingness to travel within CONUS and occasionally OCONUS as dictated by project and opportunity requirements.

• A Master's or PhD degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.

• Professional registration as an Engineer/Architect (PE or AIA) is highly preferred.

• Rank of Captain or higher in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of PFAS is highly preferred.

• Experience with Brooks Act procurement is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Energy Performance Services is highly desirable.

• Experience in waterfront design and construction is highly preferred.

• Experience in airfield design and construction is highly preferred.
