This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Identify, develop, and finalize new business opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction and references.
• Offer a comprehensive solution that includes software, services, and support to guarantee customer success.
• Actively manage designated territories by targeting specific companies and collaborating with selected partners to enhance the sales pipeline.
• Handle complex, enterprise-wide sales cycles and effectively communicate our value proposition.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing to create a strategic plan for the assigned territory and target accounts, establishing a sustainable rolling 4-quarter pipeline that generates ample opportunities.
• Coordinate team selling initiatives within the assigned territory, engaging with Value Engineering and Consulting Delivery Services.
• Proven history of acquiring new customers and expanding business within existing accounts in a competitive landscape.
• Conduct sales effectively, both in-person and through phone/web interactions with high-level industry executives.
• Exhibit thorough knowledge of Syniti products, accounts, competitors, and industry trends, particularly in key areas such as Data Migration, Master Data Management, Data Quality, and Data Governance.
• Proactively understand customer needs, industry verticals, priorities, challenges, constraints, and market trends.
• Utilize executive support for sales strategy, engage with partner leadership, and address field escalation issues.
• Manage sales cycles with the goal of meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Forecast, manage, and update pipeline activities using Salesforce.com.
• Ensure accurate forecasting and participate in regular sales performance reviews.
• Attend meetings, training sessions, and conferences as scheduled for both individual and sales team development.
• Travel as necessary.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Technology field is preferred.
• Must have the legal right to live and work in Japan.
• Ideally, possess at least 7+ years of proven direct and/or indirect sales experience, preferably in software sales/service for large enterprise clients.
• Established contacts with industry decision-makers, including customers, partners (SAP/Infor), and system integrators (IBM, Accenture, Deloitte).
• Goal-oriented, with a demonstrated record of exceeding targets (e.g., President’s Club, Rep of the Year).
• Experience with Sandler or similar sales methodologies is preferred.
• Proficient in territory and pipeline management, including prospecting, orchestrating, and closing complex sales cycles.
• Demonstrated experience in value and solutions-based sales.
• Highly motivated, with a strong desire to achieve success.
• Disciplined and skilled in managing time and resources, with a methodical approach to qualifying opportunities.
• Quick learner with the ability to establish credibility.
