This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• AECOM is in search of a seasoned Executive for our Army Account Team.
• This role will serve as a Client Account Manager (CAM) within our growth-oriented National Government's DOD program.
• The CAM position is highly visible, offering selected candidates the chance to shape AECOM’s internal strategy through client development leadership while fostering long-term relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• The Army CAM will be integrated into AECOM’s National Governments Team and will report directly to the US Defense Director.
• The CAM will spearhead sustainable and replicable Account growth for the DOD Army Team within the National Governments sector.
• Identify opportunity targets based on market dynamics and client acquisition strategies; negotiate objectives with Business Line Leaders (BLLs) and keep Regional Executives updated.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities while establishing growth targets in collaboration with the Business Lines.
• Oversee and support Program/Project opportunities.
• Continuously strive to enhance overall Portfolio Quality and optimize across Regions/Business Lines.
• Lead and manage essential relationships with all major clients.
• Create a strategy to guide client engagements in partnership with Business Lines.
• A Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or other related fields relevant to AECOM’s Business Lines.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience collaborating with US Federal government agencies on Architect-Engineering programs, including at least 6 years in a leadership capacity.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Continental United States (CONUS) and occasionally outside the Continental United States (OCONUS).
• Due to the specific nature of this role, US citizenship is mandatory.
• Comprehensive understanding of consultative selling techniques.
• Exceptional communication abilities.
• Proficient negotiation skills.
• Expertise in project management for intricate, multi-country, and multi-business unit agreements.
• Familiarity with and/or a readiness to quickly learn and adapt to AECOM's entire portfolio.
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) is a plus.
