Claims Representative – Liability, PD & Water Damage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate water damage liability claims on behalf of clients to establish benefits owed.

• Maintain ongoing claims adjudication in alignment with service expectations, industry standards, and client service obligations.

• Analyze and process claims by implementing action plans aimed at achieving timely and appropriate resolutions.

• Investigate claims and collect information to assess potential exposure.

• Negotiate claim settlements within established authority limits.

• Communicate updates on claim activities and processes to claimants and clients.

• Report claims to the excess carrier.

• Address requests for guidance in a professional and timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Relevant professional certification as applicable to the line of business is preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of claims management experience or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.

• Home state licensing is necessary.

• Knowledge of jurisdictional requirements across all states.

• Proficiency in analyzing and processing liability, property damage, and water damage claims.

• Capability to investigate claims and gather information to evaluate exposure.

• Skill in negotiating settlements within prescribed authority.

• Ability to communicate claim activities and processes effectively with claimants and clients.

• Competence in reporting claims to excess carriers and responding to direction requests.

• Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills.

• Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Capacity to manage work-related stress and handle multiple priorities concurrently.

• Ability to meet deadlines consistently.

• Proficient keyboarding skills.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Capable of hearing, seeing, and speaking effectively.
