Claims Representative I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more locations.

📋 Description

• Successfully complete the necessary foundational training.

• Acquire knowledge of the activities and responsibilities pertinent to the position.

• Operate under direct supervision.

• Depend on colleagues, specialists, and managers for instruction, guidance, and direction regarding non-basic matters.

• Code and process claims forms for payment, ensuring all necessary information is provided before eligible payments are issued.

• Investigate and analyze claims-related issues.

• Have work evaluated for technical accuracy and thoroughness.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, along with relevant experience; or any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background.

• Must successfully complete the designated pre-employment testing battery.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are highly preferred.

• Previous experience with PCs, database systems, and associated software (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) is strongly preferred.

• Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the designated location(s), unless accommodations are granted as required by law.

• Candidates in specific patient/member-facing roles are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza unless an acceptable explanation is provided.
