This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations on claims assigned under insurance contracts from affiliated companies.

• Determine the information and documentation necessary for evaluating claims.

• Delegate tasks and oversee independent adjusters.

• Communicate with insured parties and claimants about the claims process and available resolution options.

• Adhere to laws and regulations governing claims handling.

• Assess and clarify the respective rights and responsibilities under insurance contracts.

• Analyze and estimate the liability of insured parties and the losses incurred by claimants/insureds.

• Set and adjust case reserves as appropriate based on information regarding assigned claims.

• Keep accurate records of all communications with insured parties and claimants.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

• At least one year of work experience in the field.

• Ability to interpret and apply insurance contracts.

• Knowledge of insurance claim procedures, loss evaluation techniques, and claim resolution options.

• Completion of insurance-related courses such as AIC or CPCU.

• Skills in investigation.

• Proficiency in evaluation and analysis.

• Strong negotiation abilities.

• Experience in case management.

• Effective time management and prioritization skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
