Claims Contract Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +28 more states.

📋 Description

• Review and assess claim forms, supporting documentation, and associated materials in matters related to product liability, class action, and mass tort.

• Evaluate claim details for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established criteria and project specifications.

• Identify potential challenges, discrepancies, or absent information that necessitate further review or follow-up.

• Draft clear, detailed, and professional written responses to inquiries from claimants and legal counsel.

• Respond to phone inquiries from claimants and attorneys, providing clear and professional explanations of claim-related information and requirements.

• Utilize legal judgment, critical thinking, and issue-spotting abilities when reviewing claims and addressing questions.

• Adhere to established protocols and procedures while incorporating direction from project team members.

• Collaborate effectively with attorneys, project managers, and other team members to resolve issues and ensure efficient progress.

• Uphold a high standard of accuracy, confidentiality, responsiveness, and professionalism.

• Deliver outstanding service to both internal and external clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school.

• Active license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and issue-spotting competencies.

• Experience in Mass Tort, Class Action, Product Liability, or Claims Administration.

• Experience in legal document review and analysis.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to communicate professionally with claimants, attorneys, clients, and internal team members.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work autonomously while adhering to established procedures and project requirements.

• Professional demeanor, responsiveness, and comfort working in a deadline-driven environment.
