Claims Contract Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +29 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and scrutinize claim submissions, associated documentation, and relevant materials for thoroughness, precision, and adherence to regulations.

• Investigate and analyze claims-related matters, including intricate or atypical situations that necessitate legal evaluation and sound judgment.

• Draft clear, precise, and comprehensive written replies to claimants and legal representatives.

• Address telephone inquiries and clarify claims processes, requirements, and decisions.

• Communicate professionally in both French and English, in both verbal and written forms.

• Work collaboratively with project directors, managers, coordinators, and team members to resolve issues and guarantee uniform claims administration.

• Adhere to project protocols, legal regulations, and quality benchmarks while meeting deadlines.

• Keep accurate records of claim evaluations, correspondence, and communications.

• Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) or a comparable law degree from an accredited institution; a foreign law degree may also be considered.

• Active law license, in good standing, in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Proficiency in both French and English, encompassing speaking, reading, and writing.

• Strong legal analytical abilities and capacity to interpret intricate documentation.

• Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to elucidate legal and procedural matters clearly and accurately.

• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities when engaging with claimants and legal professionals.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and accuracy.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, work collaboratively, and adjust to evolving projects.

• Previous litigation experience is preferred.

• Experience with class action litigation, mass torts, or product liability cases is preferred.

• Experience in reviewing legal claims, drafting substantive correspondence, or directly communicating with claimants and counsel is preferred.
