Claims Adjuster – Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Report to the Claims Supervisor

• Investigate, assess, and resolve insurance claims

• Determine policy coverage for claimed losses and appropriate compensation amounts

• Collaborate with veterinary clinics and policyholders to assess and review pets’ medical histories and establish baseline health

• Investigate and manage assigned insurance claims

• Confirm coverage and compensation amounts in accordance with insurance policies

• Update Explanation of Benefits (EOB), process payments, and finalize claims

• Request medical records from providers as necessary

• Communicate with clients and providers throughout treatment as required

• Execute other assigned responsibilities

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a veterinary clinic

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience (one year of relevant experience is considered equivalent to one year of college)

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

• Must possess and maintain an Adjusters license or obtain it within 90 days of hire

• Only candidates residing in the United States will be considered for this position

• Full-time availability; hours will be dictated by business needs
