This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct design evaluations in accordance with the established BV design review process.
• Receive and assess design documentation, creating a review strategy.
• Verify and confirm the applicable codes, standards, and requirements relevant to the project.
• Analyze project designs for constructability and feasibility.
• Ensure the authenticity and completeness of the documentation.
• Perform design evaluations against pertinent codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Prepare and submit a review comment report or log to the client.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Civil/Structural engineer, engaged in all phases of development, design, and construction of renewable power and related utility projects.
• Solid understanding of Civil/Structural/Geotechnical engineering theories and principles.
• Acquainted with relevant Civil/Structural design and performance standards and procedures.
• Capable of interpreting codes, standards, regulations, and practices, and evaluating their relevance to client projects.
• Skilled in reviewing technical geotechnical, hydrology, and similar reports, and effectively communicating project compliance with clients.
• Knowledge of US health and safety standards applicable to renewable energy projects is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and possesses strong computer skills.
• Experience with dynamic modeling software packages is highly preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills that promote positive interpersonal interactions.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to independently plan and organize tasks.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and engage in various projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and effectiveness in high-stress situations, with a flexible, dependable, honest, and ethical approach.
• A combination of field engineering, Engineering of Record (EOR), Owner’s Engineer (OE), and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) experience in renewable energy is highly desirable.
• A solid background in civil, geotechnical, hydrological, and structural engineering is also highly desirable.
• A 4-year degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Current or previous possession of a valid US Professional Engineer license is required.
