This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.
• Oversee various Civil OSP design projects from their inception to final delivery.
• Create and manage project timelines, production strategies, resource forecasts, and delivery milestones.
• Facilitate engineering, CAD, permitting, utility, and construction support operations.
• Track scope, schedule, budget, and quality performance metrics.
• Recognize project risks, formulate mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues as needed.
• Collaborate with design teams, program leaders, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Establish and implement QA/QC protocols for Civil OSP deliverables.
• Manage quality review processes and carry out technical assessments of design packages.
• Ensure adherence to client standards, permitting regulations, and industry practices.
• Monitor quality metrics, deficiencies, corrective measures, and root-cause analyses.
• Supervise design production across a variety of projects and locations.
• Coordinate design resources, balance workloads, manage staffing, and forecast production needs.
• Generate reports and dashboards for leadership and clients.
• Lead status updates and multidisciplinary coordination meetings with clients, utilities, municipalities, and stakeholders.
• Present updates on project progress, risks, quality metrics, and mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate the review comments and resolution processes.
• Assist with proposals, scope definition, project planning, and change management.
• Create SOPs, QA/QC checklists, production workflows, lessons-learned documentation, and continuous improvement programs.
• Aid in KPI development and utilize digital tools to enhance project performance visibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Telecommunications, or a related field, along with 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience and/or education.
• Experience in managing infrastructure, telecommunications, utility, or engineering projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D for design assessment and QA/QC verification.
• Background in overseeing Civil OSP design programs and underground utility infrastructure projects.
• Experience in managing project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and delivery performance.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes and engineering review protocols.
• Experience supporting fiber optic, broadband, hyperscale, municipal, or utility infrastructure initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of underground conduit systems, duct banks, utility coordination, and right-of-way requirements.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed design teams.
• Understanding of permitting processes, DOT standards, NEC, NESC, and local jurisdictional regulations.
• Experience providing construction-phase services and resolving field issues.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• PE license is preferred.
• Technical proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Bluebeam Revu, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and production tracking/workflow management systems.
• Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future.
