This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Case Management: Supervise the comprehensive management of civil litigation cases, ensuring that all aspects from initiation to resolution are executed efficiently.
• Discovery Expertise: Independently draft, prepare, and summarize discovery documents, ensuring adherence to all legal standards.
• Document Preparation: Accurately create pleadings, motions, deposition notices, and subpoenas with meticulous attention to detail.
• Deadline Management: Oversee and monitor all court-related deadlines, ensuring the timely filing and serving of legal documents.
• Technology Utilization: Leverage Clio and EVE AI tools to enhance drafting and workflows, promoting both efficiency and accuracy.
• Medical Records & Case Support: Compile medical summaries and arrange supporting documentation to guarantee accuracy and completeness for case development.
• Document Service & Filing Coordination: Manage the service of documents and filing processes, ensuring proper execution and adherence to all filing requirements.
• Attorney Coordination: Ensure that attorneys provide timely notes and meet all deadlines, with consistent follow-up after court appearances to keep case progress on track.
• Civil Litigation Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a civil litigation paralegal, with a strong emphasis on discovery and document preparation.
• California Court Knowledge: Preferred experience in California state courts; experience in federal courts is an advantage.
• Technological Proficiency: Comfortable using AI tools and legal software such as Clio; a willingness to learn and adapt is crucial.
• Attention to Detail: Capable of managing intricate details with precision, ensuring no deadlines are overlooked.
• Teamwork and Independence: Able to work collaboratively with legal teams while also managing caseloads independently and efficiently.
