Civil Litigation and Digital Law Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage a substantial caseload of civil litigation with organized oversight of the case portfolio.

• Prepare court documents (including complaints, defenses, and appeals) based on well-established legal principles.

• Oversee deadlines and track the entire duration of legal proceedings.

• Formulate and execute legal strategies that are tailored to each client's needs.

• Collaborate with corporate clients to ensure alignment on issues and outcomes.

• Work on cases related to civil liability, consumer law, internet and digital platforms, privacy, and data protection (LGPD).

• Engage in negotiations and settlement discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth understanding of Civil Procedure Law.

• Current registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Intermediate proficiency in English (reading and writing within a legal framework).

• Capability to independently handle multiple cases at once.

• Strong organizational abilities, meticulous attention to deadlines, and a well-defined sense of priorities.

• Exceptional communication skills and clarity in legal documentation.
