Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Craft persuasive case strategies that effectively address emotional arguments and achieve desired outcomes.

• Establish higher benchmarks by questioning mediocrity and striving for excellence.

• Independently oversee court appearances, depositions, motion practices, and trials.

• Collaborate with attorneys and staff across all levels of experience.

• Ensure consistent and professional communication with clients.

• Develop and maintain relationships with both current and potential clients.

• Mentor and offer guidance to junior attorneys.

• Represent clients in matters related to insurance defense and civil litigation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a law school accredited by the ABA.

• Active bar license in California.

• 1–8 years of substantial litigation experience, including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation.

• Capability to independently manage a complete caseload, from discovery to trial.

• Prior experience in insurance defense is preferred.

• Familiarity with litigation timekeeping and billing systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Self-driven with robust critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.
