Civil Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create civil engineering designs, drawings, models, and technical documentation for infrastructure initiatives.

• Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed civil designs, including necessary calculations, layouts, and technical reports.

• Generate precise drawings and models utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

• Ensure all designs adhere to applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.

• Collaborate with other disciplines on civil designs and track progress in relation to design schedules.

• Assist the civil engineering team in completing projects on schedule and within budget constraints.

• Identify potential risks and suggest feasible solutions.

• Promote quality results through meticulous documentation, design verification, document management, and prompt feedback.

• Engage in the ongoing enhancement of design methodologies, workflows, and project execution practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in civil infrastructure design and drafting.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, or 12D Model.

• Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing accurate, high-quality documentation.

• Capability to interpret engineering sketches, mark-ups, and design directives.

• Competence in preparing design calculations, layouts, and technical reports.

• Solid understanding of civil design principles related to roads, earthworks, drainage, and reticulation.

• Experience in coordinating civil designs with other disciplines.

• Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

• Excellent communication skills along with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

• Experience in supporting the Australian civil engineering or infrastructure consulting sector is a plus but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with BIM coordination, quality assurance processes, or design workflows.

• Experience using GIS, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms.

• A certificate or higher qualification in civil engineering, drafting, design, or a related field is preferred.
