This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Oversee, identify, and cultivate essential relationships with municipal entities and local elected officials.
• Organize and facilitate monthly meetings between city officials and Metronet field leadership.
• Act as a proxy for the Business Development team when necessary.
• Serve as the point of escalation for municipal entities, including assistance for constituents.
• Manage and facilitate communication with legacy markets.
• Regulate current processes and suggest enhancements.
• Prepare and deliver the Metronet “story” to relevant community, residential, and business groups.
• Leverage professional networks to boost residential and business sales through referrals and connections.
• Supervise OSP projects to identify emerging issues and trends that may affect the market.
• Support senior management and leadership in strategic planning for known and potential activities associated with fiber overbuild project implementation.
• Coordinate efforts among various external and internal stakeholders, including city officials.
• Collaborate with the team to engage with local government leaders, advocate for initiatives, and influence local policies that align with company objectives.
• Prepare reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Work in partnership with industry groups and organizations that have complementary goals.
• Provide guidance to departments on emerging issues that could impact the business.
• Convey complex ideas through both oral and written communication.
• Participate in meetings with community decision-makers and Metronet leadership.
• Monitor local government council meeting agendas and attend those meetings when appropriate.
• Utilize internal stakeholders to resolve problems effectively.
• Travel 20-35% as required for business needs, occasionally with less than 24 hours' notice.
• Perform all other responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or three years of experience in business management, political science, public relations, or a related field is preferred.
• Confident public speaker with the ability to engage both internal teams and external stakeholders effectively.
• Willingness to travel 20-35% as required for business, sometimes with less than 24-hour notice.
